TACTICAL TRAINING TESTIMONIALS
"SWAT and military special operations personnel of various
experience and skill levels who take this course will gain a
fresh perspective on how high-risk Counter-Terrorism and
Hostage Rescue missions are executed. I highly
recommend this course to those personnel, whether civilian
law enforcement or military special operations, who are
actively engaged in the Global War on Terror and have a
strong desire to learn."

"Recognizing that BART is one of the largest public transit systems in the country, transferring your Israeli philosophy and expeditious attitude of preventing and mitigating acts of terrorism has provided our agency with an even more prepared first-responder. Your instruction, personal attention, and sharing of ideas have given us the ability to further harden an infrastructure that, when designed, never considered terrorism to be a threat that all of us might someday face. Again, thank you on behalf of the BART Police Department and the transit system’s 3,200 employees and 320,000 daily riders."

To all LEO agencies,
On July 18, 2011, Aaron Cohen
stepped onto our firing range in Virginia with 18
individuals preparing to instruct our Tactical Team in
Israeli Special Forces Hostage Rescue Techniques. What we
got was the best training our Team had ever taken.
Every LEO involved with hostage rescue operations should
take this course, it will save lives.

"Your training absolute most dynamic, effective, and comprehensive training I have ever attended, not to mention the most physically and mentally demanding!
As a former police officer, Desert Storm Veteran, and counter-terrorism agent, the incredibly fast paced skill sets, repetitive drills, and building upon lessons learned throughout the entire program ensured team cohesiveness.
The 10-day training that married up Federal, State, and local operators with trained security guards as an immediate "take-back" team using the Israeli methodology not only negated a "caste-system" from forming, but also changed a lot of attitudes in regards to the public/private partnership, which is how this country has to approach terrorism."

Aaron not
only presented his material in detail, but he always led all
forms of training which brought out exactly how EXPERIENCED
he is in counter-terror operations. The dynamic pace
of training will be implemented into our instruction
pamphlets. I highly recommend Aaron’s training
to any Agency considering Counter-Terror training. His
training can be applied not only to military and law
enforcement but also home defense. I am looking forward to
our Instructors working with Aaron in the future.

Let me first say the training was EXCELLENT. You and your assistant, David, were very professional instructors who were able to teach the tactics necessary to "take back" a nuclear facility in a terrorist type incident. It took a special training program and dedicated instructors to meet the unique challenges of a new training concept involving various law enforcement agencies. IMS accomplished this mission and, in my opinion, did so with extremely positive results.
I served three years in the active Army and five years with a township police department before I joined the State Police in 1993. I have been a member of the Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team (SWAT) for the last seven years. Over the course of my career, I have taken part in several schools and courses related to special tactics and emergency response. The IMS counter terrorism program was not only more physically demanding than some of the other schools I have attended, but the tactics presented were new and challenged me each day of the training. The new techniques learned will certainly be an asset to pass on to the Emergency Support Team during future training dates.
As a State Trooper, I was somewhat apprehensive interacting with other local, county and federal law enforcement agencies, along with the private security guards at Palisades, during the course. Because of unknown training backgrounds and departmental "egos", the VIPER team concept appeared to be hard to achieve. Again, the training you designed broke us all down and taught us we were all part of one unit, regardless of our prior training. The importance of team work incorporated throughout the course demanded we rely on one another to achieve our goals. At the end of the training we were all confident in each other’s abilities and could trust one another to accomplish the "take back" mission.
Finally, I look forward to working with you and your staff again in any refresher or future training dates. In the post 9/11 environment we live in, the realistic counter terrorism training IMS provided is something that will be beneficial to the security of our community and state. Other law enforcement agencies and/or nuclear facilities should adopt this specialized team training concept. They sure won’t know what they’re missing if they don’t! Thanks again for the OUTSTANDING training opportunity.
Sincerely,
Sgt. Steven R. Barker

" During my 28 years in law enforcement, I have never been exposed to some of the techniques you taught and demonstrated. Your training was outstanding and should be made available to every law enforcement officer/first responder that is involved with immediate tactical response."

-------------------------------------
Mr. Cohen,
I recently attended your Counter Terror School in Dothan, Alabama. In short, this school far exceeded my expectations. I have yet to attend a more realistic and demanding course since I entered law enforcement some 16 years ago. The training was applicable, timely, tactically sound, and realistic. It was an "eye opening" experience that motivated me to share your philosophy with my SWAT team and my department.
The stress shooting and the building of a combat mindset are both critical to law enforcement, especially for front line patrol officers, our true first responders. If it were left up to me, every patrol officer in the Sate of Florida would be required to take this class as a primary requirement either in the police academy or during in-service training. I whole-heartedly recommend this class to any law enforcement agency in the country. This training will save lives one day. You were sincere and knowledgeable in your delivery of the class. The training was worth every penny!
Please feel free to use me as a reference and to use this correspondence as you see fit.
Sincerely,
Gene Paul N. Smith

Re: Aaron Cohen, Counter-Terrorist / SWAT Instructor
To Whom It May Concern:
Aaron Cohen was introduced to us as an instructor for our bus intervention course back in October. Our team works in a tubular environment most of the time. Our emphasis is not only on buildings and such but also on buses and light rail vehicles. We placed importance on real world training and wanted to learn from instructors who had extensive experience with our type of environment. Aaron brought that real world information and technique to this training. What he brought to us was an expertise that could only be learned by one who has been there. We have had training from others in this area but it did not compare to the training we received this time.
To say that Aaron knows his subject is an understatement. Aaron is a straight forward no nonsense taskmaster, he demands perfection from his students and they strive to give it to him.
I recommend this training to any unit or individual desiring professional results.
Sincerely
Mike Riggs, Sergeant
